Our Team

Behind every New Wave AV project is a team of dedicated specialists who have shared a passion for delivering exceptional systems since 2003. From our designers and technical specifiers to project managers, installation engineers, commissioning and support team, every individual plays a vital role in bringing each project to life.

We combine technical expertise with meticulous attention to detail, working closely with homeowners, architects, interior designers and construction professionals from the earliest design stages through to final handover. Every cable, every programming detail and every finishing touch is carefully considered to ensure the technology performs flawlessly while complementing the architecture and interior design.

Many of our team have been with New Wave AV for over 10 years, building a wealth of experience on some of the UK’s most prestigious residential projects. Their knowledge, craftsmanship and commitment to quality are reflected in every system we deliver and every client relationship we build.

The founding of New Wave

New Wave was founded in Sevenoaks in 2003 by Kevin Whysall, following an extensive career in the commercial audio-visual sector that began in 1993. His vision was to bring high-performance technology and refined system design into the residential space. In 2010, Angus Murray joined the company as Project Director, bringing valuable expertise from a leading retail electronics environment and further strengthening the company’s technical and operational capabilities.

With well over 50 years of combined directorship experience, New Wave has grown to become one of the leading specialists in the design and installation of luxury home automation, bespoke home cinema, and advanced lighting control systems. Operating across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, and London, the company is recognised for delivering innovative, high-quality solutions tailored to the most discerning residential clients and developers.

In 2010, we relocated to our headquarters just outside Tonbridge, allowing us to offer visitors a full demonstration of the technology we integrate into our projects.
