Smart Home Ascot

We were commissioned to design and deliver a fully integrated smart home system for a high-end private residence in Ascot. The client required intuitive whole-home control, high-quality distributed audio, robust security, high-grade network, Wi-Fi and seamless integration of environmental systems, both indoors and across the landscaped grounds.

Solution Overview

At the heart of the property is a Control4 automation platform, providing centralised and reliable control of audio, climate, security, access, and garage door automation. The solution was designed to be elegant, scalable, and simple to use for all occupants.

Smart Control & User Interface

Control4 smart touchscreens were strategically installed in the hall, landing, living room, and master suite, giving the homeowner immediate access to key systems throughout the property. From these interfaces, the client can manage music, security, climate, and access with a consistent and intuitive user experience.

Multi-Room Audio

A Sonance distributed audio system was deployed across eight independent zones, delivering high-quality sound throughout the home. This system includes discreetly installed landscape speakers in the garden, ensuring indoor-to-outdoor audio performance for everyday and entertaining.

High-Performance Network & Wi-Fi

To ensure reliable performance across all smart home systems, we designed and installed a high-grade wired and wireless network infrastructure throughout the property. Enterprise-level networking equipment provides robust, secure connectivity for Control4, audio streaming, CCTV, and remote access, while strategically positioned wireless access points deliver fast, seamless Wi-Fi coverage across the house and landscaped grounds. The result is a stable, future-proof network that supports current demands and future expansion without compromise.
