This MDU redevelopment adjacent to Charing Cross and The Strand comprises of 12 luxury smart apartments in London apartments including 2 duplex penthouse apartments. Each apartment includes multi room audio and Lutron lighting control systems with the penthouses having full automation of window shading, heating and air-conditioning integration.
Each apartment has been specifically crafted to ensure residents experience the pinnacle of smart home luxury living, using only the highest quality materials from Lutron and Control4 and built to a standard which will endure for many years to come. This elegant development forms a fitting enhancement into the Adelphi conservation area.
We built a template system for each apartment that could be adjusted for the 3 different specification apartments and the 2 penthouse suites. Each apartment in this stunning MDU had a central hub for the rack and comprised the audio visual, network and smart home system. This then interlinked to the separate lighting hub for the Lutron dimmer packs, 0-10 volt and shading hub and this was in turn fully integrated with the Control4 system.
Luxury Smart Apartments in London
“Having worked with New Wave on a prior project, they undertook the Audio Visual, Lighting Control and Smart Home works for this extensive conversion of a commercial building into 12 high-end apartments and concierge area. We had some outline ideas of what we required, but during the tender interviews New Wave’s team stood out from the rest with ideas around some complexities we had for luxury smart apartments in London.
They helped us not only with the audio visual specification, but introduced Lutron to us for lighting control and shading systems, which were fitted out in the larger apartments and Control4 for the Smart Home front end. We commissioned New Wave to build a custom driver for the HVAC system and this integrated the underfloor heating and air conditioning seamlessly.
We had superb feedback from the new purchasers after handover and excellent aftercare support when required, the whole team put themselves out to assist not only us, but the other contractors and design team on the project”
